Pyaterochka and Unilever initiative to mark Environment Day

Pyaterochka and Unilever’s Chistaya Linia and Lesnoy Balsam brands launched a joint campaign in June 2020 to give reusable shopping bags to users of the Dostavka.Pyaterochka delivery service in Moscow and Kazan. The initiative was timed to coincide with World Environment Day and sought to draw consumers’ attention to the benefits of reusable packaging and thus reduce the consumption of disposable plastic bags.

On 5 June 2020, when purchasing any items via the Dostavka.Pyaterochka app, customers in Moscow and Kazan received their orders in reusable bags. The bags were made of spunbond, a wear-resistant, durable and lightweight non-woven material meeting all quality and safety requirements.
