Perekrestok improves healthy lifestyle offering based on customer preferences

Perekrestok conducted a Healthy Snack survey among its customers and tailored its healthy lifestyle offering to customer preferences. The survey, which covered more than 600 people across Russia with a breakdown of 68% women and 32% men, targeted only customers who purchase healthy snacks.

Based on survey results, the chain improved the layout of healthy lifestyle products in its stores and expanded its healthy snack assortment. Across Perekrestok’s 470 stores, products in this category are now displayed on separate racks to reflect shopping preferences. The stores now feature two additional shelves for nuts and dried fruits, a separate shelf for fruit chips, snacks and protein bars, and two more shelves for whole grain and natural potato chips, crispbread and popcorn made with coconut oil.
