Partnering with SOS Children’s Villages to prevent social orphanhood
In 2021, X5 joined a programme launched by the charity SOS Children’s Villages that works to strengthen the family and prevent children from becoming social orphans. Through this joint effort, the partners support families in crisis by offering free assistance from psychologists, social educators, lawyers and other professionals.
The programme aims to prevent children with living parents from entering foster care. The charity’s experts comprehensively address the issues faced by disadvantaged families and assist families with developing skills in parenting and childcare. Each year, approximately 1,600 families and a total of 2,500 children benefit from this programme.
