In April 2021, Perekrestok, Henkel and EcoPartners Group together with the Volunteers for Orphans charity foundation supported the Kind Caps project to collect and recycle plastic caps. Special containers in the form of giant bottles for collecting plastic caps from drink products have already been installed at 300+ Perekrestok supermarkets in Moscow and the Moscow region, as well as in Volgograd, Samara, Tver and Tula.

The recycled plastics is used in special ramps to be installed at store entrances in different regions. The project aims to raise consumers’ awareness of social and environmental issues and promote reusable materials.
